The Voice local radio for North Devon, from North Devon

The Voice, north Devon’s truly local radio station

Soon to be on FM as well

The Voice is a fairly recent thing in the area but has picked up a pretty respectable sized audience after little over a year of broadcasting. Particularly when you consider that it is only available on digital formats at the moment.

As a local broadcaster the station are keen to hear from any unsigned bands in the North Devon, Torridge or wider Devon region who would like to come in and record a live session at the studios. Contact the Street Live team for more details.

You can listen on DAB digital radio if you are close enough to the Huntshaw Cross transmitter.

If not then you can get the station online via their official website

The third way is using a smartphone app, the most poular of which is TuneIn
TuneIn is free for Android but there is a small charge for iPhones because people who have iPhones are obviously rich.

Later in 2013 The Voice will be going on to an FM frequency and it is anticipated that audience figures could easily treble and more.
